Step 1 is the basecoat and is made of ceramide-r and d-panthenol. These two ingredients are important because they create the perfect set-up for mascara to be put on. They work together to protect and strengthen lashes. Step 2 is the top coat which extends length for an extraordinary look. This product does not need to be reapplied multiple times throughout the day as it will stay on perfectly. It does not clump, flake or smudge. Double Extend mascara comes off easily with a little warm water and does not harm or damage eye lashes. It has been ophthalmologist tested and approved for use for those with sensitive eyes and contact lenses. L’Oreal Double Extend Beauty Tubes Mascara comes in a shiny red cylinder tube. There are two ends which both screw off. One end is red and the other is ivory. This mascara comes in two colors; black and blackest black. It is clear since there are two sides that one is a primer and one is the main coat. The center piece which I like to refer to as the “body” is red with “L’OREAL” written in small thin white font up top followed by “DOUBLE EXTEND” in larger thicker font. All text is written going vertically. On the right side “Step 1” is written which is the ivory side and on the left side “Step 2” is written which is the red end.
